Sacred Grounds BARISTA / Front of house - PART TIME

Hours: 24-30 hours Per Week - Daytime shifts 8.25-4.30 / 10.30-5.00

Join us in our wonderful plant-based haven. Must be available all year round.

The Job

We’re looking for a friendly and welcoming person to join our brilliant barista / front of house team, with a professional and mature approach to working and communicating with our guests. We’re looking for someone who loves to talk about food and drink and who can be as enthusiastic about our menu as we are, we’re a company with an adaptable approach to working.

Previous Barista / speciality coffee and waiting experience is essential to this role, though more extensive training and product knowledge will be given.

Primarily we’re a daytime cafe, but occasionally we do operate in the evenings so there may be some ad-hoc shifts in the evenings working at one of our exciting evenings or when the the space is hired for external events!

We’re well known for our open and welcoming space and we’re seeking someone with a calm and confident manner who will enjoy the fast, organised pace and harmonious way that our team works together. Attention to detail is a key attribute, as well as being confident, organised and outgoing in nature - if you love talking to people this is the job for you!

This role will also involve working as a team player and helping out in all aspects of the days events - from taking customer orders, greeting customers, running food and drinks, as well as helping with cleaning and loading/unloading of the dishwasher - team work makes the dream work!
